By downloading, installing, or using Fuel Saver App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Fuel Saver App provides fuel price comparison information for petrol stations across the United Kingdom. The App displays prices from publicly available data sources including the UK Government Open Data Scheme.
3. Accuracy of Information
Important: Always verify prices at the station before filling up.
- Fuel prices are sourced from third-party providers and may not reflect real-time prices at the pump
- Prices are typically updated every 15-30 minutes
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price information
- Station availability, opening hours, and amenities may change without notice
4. User Accounts
- You may use the App without creating an account
- Account features include price alerts and synced favorites
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to access other users' accounts
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Scrape or harvest data from the App
- Submit false or misleading information
- Interfere with the App's operation
- Use automated systems to access the App
6. Intellectual Property
- The App and its content are owned by Fuel Saver App Ltd
- Fuel price data is sourced under the UK Open Government Licence
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App
- "Fuel Saver App" and our logo are trademarks
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including:
- OpenStreetMap for maps
- UK Government Open Data Scheme for prices
- Retailer APIs (Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, BP, Esso, etc.)
These services have their own terms and conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App
- We are not liable for decisions made based on price information
- We are not responsible for third-party content or services
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (£0)
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fuel Saver App Ltd from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.
10. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time
- We may terminate or suspend access without notice
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases
- You may request deletion of your account data
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms. Material changes will be notified via the App.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
